Monarch Butterfly
Every year, monarch butterflies travel thousands of kilometers across North America in one of the longest insect migrations on Earth.
But their numbers are rapidly declining due to habitat loss, pesticide use and climate change – especially the disappearance of milkweed, the only plant their caterpillars can feed on.
By planting milkweed, reducing pesticide use and protecting natural habitats, we can help restore their migration routes.
A journey this extraordinary should never come to an end.
